80% of firms subsidise fund expenses: study – Ignites Europe

The majority of cross-border asset managers that sell their funds into Europe are subsidising their own funds’ operating expenses to keep investor charges down. So reports Fund Strategy.A new study from London-based fund research firm Fitz Partners entitled ‘Cross-border Fund Charges’ shows almost 80 per cent of providers distributing into Europe help fund their products’ operating expenses amid increasing pressure on client charges.
