History

In 1996, in the Fitzrovia area of London, Hugues Gillibert developed Fitzrovia International alongside its founder, Paul Moulton. They were pioneers in fund cost calculations. Fitzrovia International introduced Total Expense Ratios to Europe and produced the first UK and European investment funds fees databases. In 2004, Fitzrovia was acquired by Thomson Reuters before its rebirth as FITZ Partners in 2013.

FITZ Partners provides a renewed offering to European Asset Managers focussed on consistently delivering accurate databases of Fund Charges alongside personalised best-in-class fund cost benchmarking. Using its proprietary fee calculations, unique peer group construction expertise and close partnerships with its clients FITZ Partners has developed an independent and unrivalled suite of services.
FITZ Partners has become one of Europe’s largest providers of fund Board Reporting and Value Assessment services in Europe, thanks to its personable but professional approach, unique expertise delivered by a talented team, and continued support from its clients.

Hugues

Hugues, the founder of Fitz Partners, started his career in the industry in 1996 when he joined Fitzrovia, introducing fund fees benchmarking in Europe. He has supported many industry working groups on fund expenses both in Europe and the UK and has become a regular commentator in the European Financial media. Hugues gained an MSc in Finance from Strathclyde University and degree in European Business Studies from KEDGE business school in France. He spends his spare time with his family and nothing will beat a bout of skiing, sailing or traveling with his teenage crew.

Darren

Darren is the Operation Director at Fitz Partners, ensuring the delivery of high quality data to clients. He began his career in the fund industry when he joined Fitzrovia International in 2003, prior to its acquisition by Thomson Reuters and its subsequent relaunch as Fitz Partners. Darren holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Management Studies from the University of Sussex. In his spare time Darren enjoys football and boxing, property development and game/software development.

Laura

Laura joined Fitz Partners in 2017 and oversees the research team, client research and Board Reporting services. Laura graduated from UCL with an MSc in Mathematics and has previously worked in various research roles – in finance, academia, advertising and television. In her spare time, Laura enjoys going to the gym, practising yoga and reading about psychology.

Mark

Mark joined Fitz Partners in 2024 and is responsible for Business Operations and Strategy. Mark brings over 25 years of experience working in financial markets having held senior product management and strategy roles for Lipper, Thomson Reuters and most recently the London Stock Exchange Group where he was Head of Product Management for its Digital Wealth Data and Analytics platforms. In his spare time, he enjoys running, football and Formula One.

Roxana

Roxana rejoined Fitz Partners in 2024 as Head of Business Development and Client Relations. She has over 20 years’ experience in the investment industry, both working at asset management firms such as Aviva Investors and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and servicing asset managers through companies such as S&P, Fitch Ratings and most recently FE fundinfo. She holds a MSc in Finance and Investment from University of Exeter. In her spare time Roxana enjoys tennis, skiing and alfresco coffees with her dog Charlie. 

Matt

Matthew joined Fitz Partners in 2016 as a member of the Data Operations team, shortly after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Finance, Investment and Risk from the London Institute of Banking and Finance. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys a round of golf and performing/recording with his band.

Pamela

Pamela is a Financial Data Analyst and has been working at Fitz Partners since 2018. She joined Fitz Partners after graduating from the University of Kent with a BSc (Hons) in Financial Mathematics. She loves going to the cinema and trying out new restaurants.

Desi

Desi joined Fitz Partners in 2018 and is currently working as a Senior Research Analyst and Business Manager. She holds an MSc in International Business Management with Entrepreneurship from Kingston University, the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership as well as AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting – Level 3. She is also currently studying towards completion of her AAT qualification, doing AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting. She loves going to amusement parks, spending time in nature, BBQs and garden parties.

Zhaomin

Zhaomin joined Fitz Partners in 2017 as a Financial Analyst after graduating from King’s College London with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, painting and yoga.

Nam

Nam joined Fitz Partners in 2018 as a financial data analyst. He graduated from Kingston University with a BSc in Mathematics with Business. His position at Fitz Partners has allowed him to expand his knowledge about the complex world of finance and further enabled him to navigate his personal finance. He enjoys spending time with his growing family in his spare time.

Samira

Samira joined Fitz Partners in July 2022 as a Data Analyst. She obtained her MSc Banking and Finance degree from Kingston University after completing a placement year at Fitz Partners. She enjoys trying new restaurants, swimming and visiting museums.

Tomek

Tomek joined Fitz Partners as a Data Analyst in 2023 after graduating from City, University of London. In his spare time Tomek enjoys watching football and basketball, as well as producing music and DJ’ing.

Will

Will Joined Fitz Partners in 2023 as a Research Analyst, after graduating with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Exeter. Outside of work, Will is a keen rugby player and fan as well as enjoying a round of golf and watching the football on the weekend.

Conor

Conor joined Fitz Partners in September 2023 as a Research Analyst, after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Economics. Outside of the office, Conor is an avid supporter of his local football team and enjoys taking a catch on the cricket field.

Miranda

Miranda joined Fitz Partners in 2023 as a Research Analyst. She graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, learning languages and travelling.

Fayo

Fayo joined FITZ Partners as a research analyst in 2024. She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) in Economics. In her spare time she enjoys watching football, painting and reading crime thrillers.  

Jamie

Jamie joined Fitz Partners in March 2024 as a Research Analyst, after graduating with a degree in Economics from the University of Bristol. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys watching football and Formula One, as well as playing golf when the weather is nice.
