Investment advisory fees fall 5% year on year: Fitz – Ignites Europe

Investment advisory fees paid by asset managers have fallen by 5 per cent year on year, according to new research, as firms work to keep such costs down.

Research firm Fitz Partners writes in its annual investment advisory fee benchmarking report that such fees, which are charged to a fund for stock selection and asset allocation research, have dropped on average by between 39 basis points and 41 basis points over the past 12 months
